Under this thread I will post dyno read outs and data log numbers as they become available to me.

First dyno run we have is a 1989 944 Turbo S owned by Dave Lindsey of Lindsey Racing. Pulling at 15.5PSI with AFM, stock wastegate, stock injectors with variable FPR set at 43lb, no cat 3" Lindsey Race exhaust, on a 94F 50% humidity day. Netted 275.2 rwhp and 304 TQ. Second run was at 20psi and netted 278 rwhp and 339 TQ. Dave says the wastegate is not holding and that the boost is dropping off to 12psi almost as soon as it hits peak. He may install a dual port wastegate and run the tests again.

A/F Ratios maxed at 12.3 and were 11.2 in the peak torque area.

Looks like George's run at 22psi not only made more due to higher boost, but the run was done to 6,500??? As the first was only to 6,250.

Looks like it made power right up to 6,500 and then was rolling off.

Proves also no real need to run to 7K unless needed as the power, even on the 75 with the head is rolling off by 6,500 anyway.

True, and again the 7K rev limiter is just for when you occasionally need to rev out longer to hold a turn on the track or like circumstance, you won't be building power up there.

Russel,

Do you guys have any dyno sheets from stock or very lightly modified (ie, without catalytic converter) 26/6 951's?

Not at the moment, we rely on friends/customers to supply dyno sheets and data logs. But I agree that we do need to get some sheets of various cars in various configurations running stock and/or other aftermarket chips compared to ours on the same car/day/dyno.

Regards,
Russell

This is the one everyone has been waiting for, a mostly stock car with AFM making over 300HP. Dave took the car in the first dyno chart, the '89S back to the dyno today after installing a dual port wastegate and 4" exhaust. The car is having an electrical issue which seems to be the flywheel sensor. This will need to be repaired and another run done to show the TRUE capability of the car. But even with this issue and the car coughing a few times on the dyno because of it, the numbers came in at:

305.2HP/345.4TQ @ 16 psi boost!

I think that Andial Stroker car was making that HP/TQ at 13.5psi and not 17. Also I heard throught the grapevine that he was swapping out his turbo soon and shooting for 400rwhp......with the help of a nice 951MAx chip of course.............
