My wife saw this post and said "That is your new slogan!"

Thanks Erik, so here's the deal. I'm getting shirts made up with "I Got MAXXED!" printed on the front, and the black 951MAX logo on the back. Will probably give some away at track events with chip sales, and will post them for sale for $15.00 on the website.

Regards,
Russell

The T-Shirts came out nice! They are high quality Haynes Ts direct printed and not thermal transfer for longer life. I will put them for sale on the website for $15.00 + 5.00 shipping in the US. Other countries contact me for shipping info. Here's what they look like:

I'll have to add Kudos to Russ. I did my first track event with the chips today and the car was a totally new beast. AFR was 11.5 to 12.5 at WOT and 15lbs of boost, at that rate this engine should last a while.

The car pulled hard through the rpm range and totally embarassed a brand new C4S that was running in my group.

Thanks Russ . . . . keep up the good work.

BTW - Long sleeve T-shirt could be used in driving events Wink

Thanks Marc!

Yeah, I thought about getting the long sleeve shirts. I think I'll order some in the spring for next season. I'm sure the price will be about the same. Actually if there is any demand for them I could order 50 or so and get them a WHOLE LOT cheaper, and be able to sell them at about half the current price.

We'll see...

Thanks again!

I just decided to look this up, never thought about the spelling at all.

1 result for: maxed
View results from: Dictionary | Thesaurus | Encyclopedia | All Reference | the Web

American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source max (māks) Pronunciation Key
n. The maximum: The car can seat five adults, but that's the max.

adj. Maximal.

adv. Maximally: We'll pay $250 max.

intr.v. maxed, max·ing, max·es

To reach one's limit, as of endurance or capability: The weightlifter maxed out at 180 kilograms.
To reach a point from which no additional growth, improvement, or benefit is possible: The salary for this position maxes at $45,000.

Now I'm glad I didn't get too many T-Shirts made.

Russell;

Just my opinion but I think the 'maxxed' spelling works fine & draws attention to the fact that it is a different or more intense experience than 'maxed'.
Additionally, if you are proclaiming you just got 'maxed' one could give the impression that you had previously had a very close relationship with someone named Max; clearly a very different experience indeed!!
To each his or her own but I would prefer to be 'maxxed' or perhaps even 'maxxxed'...depending on the degree/level of chip tuning!!!...lol

Point well made! Personally I am more fond of the MAXXED spelling just as you say because to me it implies 'more'. I don't know anybody named Max, but I did know a Maxine once....

No, I didn't know her that way! Smile

Yeah, I think maybe we should stick with Maxxed!

thanks for the input!

Regards,
Russell
